Fossil fuel AND GUN INDUSTRIES CONTRIBUTE MILLIONS

There are two types of fuel in the world, Clean and Dirty. 

Lobbying and campaign donations spent 13 times more money in Congress promoting Dirty Fossil Fuel rather Clean Renewable Fuels. 

The problem is that the cost per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electricity from solar power is significantly lower than that of electricity generated from natural gas (the least expensive fossil fuel), with solar typically costing around $0.06 - $0.08 per kWh while gas can cost $0.08 - $0.12 per kWh. 

Solar energy technologies and power plants do not produce air pollution or greenhouse gases when operating.  Solar energy can have a positive, indirect effect on the environment while fossil fuels have a direct polluting effect on our environment.

Yet, our Congress follows the dictates of their Corporate Contributors.

We challenge you to find a better example of the control Corporate Campaign Contributions exercise over Congress than that of Gun Control.

 There is broad support for simply conducting background checks on gun purchases from a wide range of Americans, including gun owners, non-gun owners, and people across political affiliations. 

A recent poll confirms this showing that 90% of respondents to the poll supported closing loopholes in background checks for all gun purchases. 

True to form, Congress bowed to the wishes of their Campaign Contributors. (Mic Drop)
